- High speed processing making navigation calculations and map redraw faster than GNS series navigators
- Advanced 15 channel receiver
It is approved to fly LPV "glideslope" approaches without reference to ground based navaids of any kind.
This provides the lateral approach guidance into thousands of USA airports, previously inaccesible in IFR conditions
